The President of the Republic of Ghana, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo together with his Vice President and their spouses have filed past the remains of the late Former President Jerry John Rawlings.
The remains of the late former President Jerry John Rawlings have been laid in state for viewing at the Accra International Conference Centre.
The Heads of State and other dignitaries were given the opportunity to file past his body to pay their last respect today Tuesday 26th January 2021.
Also present at the Accra International Conference Centre to pay his last respect to the founder of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) was the former President John Agyekum Kufuor.
Former President John Dramani Mahama also filed past the body former President Jerry John Rawlings today.
Jerry John Rawlings, died after battling a short illness at the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital Thursday, November 12, 2020 at 73.
He left behind a wife, Nana Konadu Agyemang Rawlings, and four Children.
