No need for foreign aid if corruption fight succeeds – Martin Amidu

Citizen Vigilante, Martin Alamisi Burnes Kaiser Amidu, has  said there will be no need for foreign aid if the country fights corruption to the core.

Martin Alamisi Amidu made this statement during his vetting in Parliament as the special prosecutor nominee.

According to him, the President of the Republic of Ghana has made the best choice in appointing him as Special Prosecutor.

According to him, “thieves” are afraid of experienced and credible investigators which according to him, makes him the best candidate.

Martin Amidu likened himself to the “Man in the Arena”, someone who is heavily involved in a situation that requires courage, skill, or tenacity in the famous passage from the speech Citizenship in a Republic, given by Theodore Roosevelt in 1910.

He opined that all things being equal, he will be happy when he finally goes to the maker knowing that he did not die in vain.
