Gov't has created 3 million jobs – Ignatius Baffuor Awuah

The Minister Designate for Minister of Employment and Labour Relations, Ignatius Baffuor Awuah, has revealed that the Akufo-Addo led administration has created 3 million jobs so far.

In 2018, Ignatius Baffuor Awuah stated that the Akufo-Addo government through his ministry had created one million jobs for the youth.

Speaking to the Appointments Committee of Parliament on Wednesday, February 17th 2021, The Minister Designate for Minister of Employment and Labour Relations, Ignatius Baffuor Awuah, noted that 3 million jobs has been created by government in both private and public sectors.

According to him, this development has to some extent brought relief to the youth who were unemployed in 2018.

“In May 2018, I indicated that government has created approximately one million jobs, but now I can say that this government has created over 3 million jobs. That’s with the combination of the both private and public sector”, he told the appointment Committee.
