Atinka TV’s “Efie Asetena” wins award for ‘upholding and promoting family values’

 

Efie Asetena, a family oriented show on Atinka TV, has won an award at the Annual Family Value Awards organized by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

The show hosted Madam Grace Manu was awarded for upholding and promoting Family Values in the home.

The annual Family Value Awards, which is aimed at recognizing and awarding individuals and organizations promoting family values or supporting the less privileged in the community, was held last Friday at the Headquarters of the church in Accra.  

Other recipients on the day included Mrs. Selekem Acolatse of GBC's Women's Voice, Sheikh Yahaya Al-Amin, Head, Founder and Leader of Islamic Foundation for Peace and Development and also Madam Comfort Bediako, Proprietress of Virgin Kids International School.

Hon. Gifty Twum Ampofo, Deputy Minister of Gender Children and Social Protection who was the guest of honour, spoke about raising generation of leaders who will impact positively on the nation by upholding family values.
