Ahwoi: “I was under intense pressure from Rawlings to award contract to his friends”

Professor Kwame Ahwoi’s book, “Working with Rawlings” continues to expose the former President as someone who subtly perpetuated acts of corruption despite his beloved mantra,” Probity and Accountability”
Ahwoi, who served as Local Government Minister for twelve years under President Rawlings, recounts how his boss pressed him to award a waste management contract to then NDC financier and businessman, Eddie Annan, who was also a close confidant of the first family at the time.
