Fire has gutted the girls’ dormitory of Baidoo Bonsoe Senior High Technical School at Agona-Nkwanta in the Ahanta-West Municipal Assembly of the Western Region.
Reports available to Atinkaonline.com indicate that the incident occurred on Monday morning when the girls were preparing for classes.
The cause of the fire is yet to be established but it took fire fighters several hours to douse the inferno even after they delayed in responding.
Six Students who collapsed during the incident are receiving treatment at the hospital.
Books, mattresses, bags, uniforms and other belongings of the students were destroyed by the fire.
