”Working with Rawlings”: Ahwois bent on taking control of NDC- Volta Youth Network

Convener for Volta Youth Network, a pressure group that shares in the ideologies of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), Fiddle Richard Agbeko has described the controversial “Working with Rawlings”, a book authored by Professor Kwamena Ahwoi as indecent and an indictment on the NDC.
According to Fiddle Richard, the book is an attack not only on the founder of the NDC, but an attack on the forces of truth, especially those who believe that the probity and accountability that the NDC projects is held in high esteem.
“Working with Rawlings”, a book, authored by National Democratic Congress (NDC) kingpin, Professor Kwamena Ahwoi, among other allegations claims that the former deputy Education minister for Education, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, Edward Omane Boamah and others were among a group of young politicians, who were purposely engaged by him and others to respond to and “talk back” at former President Rawlings for the latter’s attacks on the personality of the late President of Ghana, His Excellency John Evans Fiifi Atta Mills.
Reacting to the content of the book on Atinka FM’s AM Drive, Convener for Volta Youth Network, a pressure group which shares in the ideologies of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), Fiddle Richard Agbeko, maintained that the book is a mere ploy by the Ahwois to take control of the NDC party.
“It’s unfortunate that someone one who is supposed to be an elder within the NDC will come out with a book as scandalous as it is, on the person of the founder. Every Ghanaian will agree that he NDC needs the founder the most at this moment than we have ever needed him”, he added.
Fiddle Richard Agbeko explained that the entire book has only one agenda, that is to demonize the founder of the NDC and make him voiceless, an agenda that he described as ‘evil’ and unacceptable.
