The President of the Republic of Ghana Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo has promised to reinstate sacked deputy Sports Minister.
Deputy Minister for Youth and Sports, Pius Enam Hadzide as well as the Acting Director General of the National Sports Authority Robert Sarfo Mensah were sacked by the President in April.
The suspension was as a result of a visa scandal which rocked the country in the wake of the Commonwealth games currently underway in Australia.
Speaking at the 26th Annual Delegates Congress of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), President Akufo Addo mentioned that the suspension will be lifted on Monday to enable the embattled Deputy Sports minister resume work.
According to the President, Police investigations which were conducted into the Visa scandal has vindicated the minister.
