Award-winning hiplife musician ,TiC, born Nana Kwaku Okyere Duah says he deserved more nominations in the VGMA's.

The artiste whose song ,"Kwanikwani 2", has been nominated in the popular song of the year category in the 20th edition of the VGMA's mentioned the "Pene Mane" was an equally good song which deserved to be acknowledged.

"I made a submission for PENE MAME too and you know it was a fantastic song but it was ignored which baffles me", he said.

TiC, who made this revelation in an interview with, also expressed displeasure in how a hiplife song can be nominated in the most popular song of the Year category but the same song will be missing in its own category which is "Hiplife song of the year".

"I think this is worrying, if a hiplife song is good enough to be popular then I believe it's equally good to be in it's original hiplife song of the year category", he said.

At the 2005 Ghana Music Awards, he had a record nine nominations.

TiC has to his credit hit songs including Kangaroo, Phimomina, Menko bio, Fefe n'efe,  Kwanikwani Pt 2, Bosoe and a host of others.
