Report has it that the singer and music producer died in his apartment in Accra on Sunday, February 10, 2019.
He got back from a show around 12 am on Sunday and moved to his apartment at the Royal Richester hotel.
According to a source close to the family, Willi Roi was found dead with blood oozing out of his mouth after security officers broke into his room after he failed to step out the whole day.
The body has been deposited at the police morgue.
Willi Roi was an entertainment critic, a musician, songwriter, a multi-Instrumentalist and a sound engineer.
He is best known for his work with Femi Kuti, Sunny Ade, Sunny Okussuns and Daddy Lumba.
He will be best remembered for his role as a repertoire manager at Zylofon Media.
