The Youth of Klefe in Ho, in the Volta Region, have sent congratulatory messages to Dr. Archibald Lesta on his reappointment as the Volta Regional Minister designate.
The congratulatory message from the group comes after the President of the Republic of Ghana, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, released a list of proposed Ministers and Regional Ministers.
The list has also been submitted to Parliament for the process of their prior approval for appointment, in accordance with the dictates of the Constitution.
A statement signed by the Director of Communications at the Presidency, Eugene Arhin noted that the President is hopeful that Parliament will see to the prompt approval of his nominees so they can assist in the delivery of his mandate for his second term in office.
Seven Ministries, namely Aviation, Business Development, Inner City and Zongo Development, Monitoring and Evaluation, Planning, Regional Re-organisation and Development, and Special Development Initiatives, have been realigned.
According to the statement the President has effected this realignment because virtually all these special-purpose Ministries have achieved the purposes for which they were established.
A statement signed by the leader of the Youth of Klefe , Adjei Raphel noted that the reappointment is in order looking at how Dr. Archibald Lesta has effectively coordinated government business in the Volta Region.
