Use pageant to promote girl education – Miss C’wth UK  

 

Princess Duncan, winner of the 2018 Miss Commonwealth UK Beauty Pageant , is strongly appealing to parents to encourage their daughters to take part in beauty pageants.

According to her, pageantry promotes girl child education.

Pageantry, she explained is quite synonymous to the display of culture values, hence the onus lies on them to help children identify their God given talent to showcase Ghanaian and African culture to world.

After winning the UK tournament, she is expected lay a legacy and foundation here in Ghana by organizing Miss Commonwealth Ghana Beauty Pageantry 2018.

The vision of Miss Commonwealth Ghana Beauty Pageant 2018, is to create the awareness of peaceful nations and a world free from ethnic and political conflict.

It is also geared towards political and social injustice among women, religious intolerance and terrorism among children and women.

Princess Duncan won Miss Commonwealth 2017/2018 in UK and has been given the license to host miss commonwealth Ghana 2018.

Speaking at Miss Commonwealth Ghana 2018, Launch at Alisa Hotel, Monday, August 7, 2018, and Princess Duncan is noted that she expected young ladies across the country to participate and showcase our rich Ghanaian and African culture to promote peace among Africa nation and the entire world.

And that her maiden event will bring together intelligent and beautiful ladies in the country to compete for a crown that will give them the opportunity to represent Ghana at the international stage.
