US Elections: Akufo-Addo congratulates Biden

The President of the Republic of Ghana, Nana Akufo-Addo, has sent congratulatory messages to the President-Elect of the United States, Joseph Robinette Biden Jr and his Vice President- Kamala Harris.

Joe Biden becomes the 46th president of the USA. 

President Akufo-Addo in a statement said he is hopeful that, over the course of Biden’s presidency, the relations between Ghana and the United States of America will continue to grow from strength to strength.

A relationship which, according to Akufo-Addo, have, over the years, been based on a shared agenda of freedom, development, progress and prosperity.

“On behalf of the people of Ghana, I extend my warmest congratulations to President-Elect of the United States Of America, Vice President Joseph Robinette Biden Jr on his decisive victory in the elections of 3rd November 2020…

I am hopeful that over the course of his presidency, relations between Ghana and the United States of America will continue to grow from strength to strength, relations which have over the years been based on shared agenda of freedom, development, progress and prosperity.

God bless the American people and best wishes for their country’s continued success”, the President said in a statement.
