TUCEE Holds maiden graduation on Cyber Counselling

The TUCEE Institute of Counselling and Technology (TICT) has held its maiden graduation for students who underwent eight (8) month training in Cyber Counselling.

Cyber Counselling made use of technological tools such as telephone, social media including WhatsApp, Instagram, zoom among others to Counsel clients remotely instead of face -to- face meetings.

Cyber Counselling has been very effective in providing satisfaction to clients since it enables them to freely express themselves and poor out their predicaments for the necessary assistance by the Counsellors.

Principal of the TUCEE Institute of Counselling and Technology, Dr Cecelia Tutu- Danquah charged the graduands to go and make meaningful impact on their clients for the benefit of Ghana.

According to her, TUCEE is committed to help develop the much-needed Counsellors in all spheres for the development of the nation.  

The Course representative of the Cyber Counselling graduands, Mr Ben Addy Lamptey on behalf of his colleagues thanked TUCEE for the opportunity.

He assured that they will be good ambassadors of the school in the discharge of their Counselling responsibilities.

Some of the students also expressed appreciation to TUCEE and noted the training will help them impact lives positively with ease irrespective of the client’s location.

A total of 62 students graduated from the first Cyber Counselling Course organized by the TUCEE Institute of Counselling.

Three  Academic Doctors were among the students who graduated  from the Cyber Counselling Course.
