The grand finale of Atinka TV's big band reality show, 'Kronkron', will be held on March 10, 2019 at the National Theatre in Accra at 4.p.m.
According to Atinka Media Village, organisers of the show, top Ghanaian gospel musicians including Elder Mireku, Evg. I.K. Anim and Daughters of Glorious Jesus will headline the climax of the maiden edition of Kronkron.
Aside these giants in the gospel music fraternity, SP Kofi Sarpong, Joyce Blessing, Hannah Marfo, Ernest Opoku, Apostle Oko Hackman, Francis Agyei, Prof. Kofi Abraham, and Abena Serwaa Ophelia will also grace the occasion with compelling performances.
24 bands out of the 51 that were selected to audition for the worship-centered reality show qualified to participate in the competition.
Throughout the 13 weeks of live performances, 14 bands were evicted, leaving 10 to contest for the ultimate prize.
Consistently, the 10 finalists have displayed dynamic talents and have grown from one capability to the other.
Over the weeks, they have been judged on their skill, adaptation, cohesion and song structure.
While judges have 40 percent votes, the public is also eligible to contribute to 60 percent votes.
The winner of the competition takes home GH₵10, 000 and a set of musical instruments.
First and second runners-up will also be going home with cash prizes of GH₵10,000 and GH₵5,000 respectively, while fourth to eighth-placed music groups will be given cash prizes of GH₵2,000 each.
In an interview with the Managing Director (MD) of Atinka Media village (AMV), Mr Albert Kwabena Dwumfour, he assured the public that whoever deserves the ultimate prize will win.
According to him, the AMV has been known for its successful feat when it comes to reality shows, therefore, Kronkron will not be an exception.
Mr Dwumfour urged the public to vote for their favourite bands to enable them win, while he called on the public to come and support Kronkron at the grand finale.
