Some students of the Agogo State College in the Ashanti Region on Sunday embarked on a violent protest, leading to the arrest of some 22 students, including 18 females.
The students who were protesting against acute water shortage and poor power supply ended up destroying school properties including the school bus, windows, and doors, electrical appliances, computer laboratory etc.
The police who were called in to restore calm arrested 22 students including 18 females.
The school has subsequently been shut down as investigations continue.
