Stanbic Bank presents prizes to GJA Female Journalist of the Year

Stanbic Bank has presented prizes to the Ghana Journalist Association (GJA) Journalist of the year, Regina Asamoah.

Atinka Media Village’s Regina Asamoah, was adjudged female Journalist of the year respectively at the just ended 25TH GJA awards.

The items include a 2021 Journal, a computer mouse, a multi-purpose ATM card loaded with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Presenting the prizes to Regina Asamoah on behalf of Stanbic Bank, Communications Manager for Stanbic, Kojo Larbi congratulated Regina Asamoah and urged her to continue the good journalistic work.

Regina Asamoah expressed her gratitude to Stanbic Bank and called on all female Journalists in the media to keep up the good work.

Mr. Kinsley Nsiah Poku, Deputy Managing Director for Atinka Media Village also expressed his gratitude to Stanbic Bank and called on other corporate entities to emulate the works of Stanbic Bank.

Ms. Regina Asamoah started her journalism profession in 2009 at the then Sena Radio in Ashaiman as an attachment student and subsequently retained as permanent staff in the News Department.

Starting as a reporter and producer, she rose through the ranks to become the Acting Head of News due to her versatility, hard work and commitment.

She also worked as a sub- editor for the Wir Newspaper ( a catholic newspaper) for a two-year period.

Since she joined the Atinka Media Village, in 2015, Ms. Asamoah has undoubtedly been one of the stations’ pivots as far as broadcast journalism is concerned.

Ms. Asamoah works as News Editor at AMV.

She also contributes content to the station’s online platform (www.atinkaonline.com).
