SESA Initiative Ghana Co-founder and Ghana’s first EQ Coach, Mr. James Kwesi Addison, was invited to provide great insights at the recent ‘Single Mothers Conference and Expo 2017’ held in Accra on the 29th of July, 2017 under the auspices of the Angeles Foundation.

James Kwesi Addison set-out to ensure that our single mothers can see the way that SESA Ghana will help them learn to take on challenges and cope emotionally, to respond creatively and effectively, irrespective of set-backs, and have the inner resources to bounce back – time and time again.

James helped participants be aware that emotions are involved with everything a person does and determine how well they manage themselves, and adapt to the demands of life. He emphasized that the value of our ability to manage our behaviour, along with the positive morale, engagement, and commitment will determine how well we live our lives.

In a post conference interview, James Kwesi Addison thanked the brain behind the event and the founder of the of Angeles Foundation Mrs. Kobi Hemaa Osisiadan-Bekoe, for ensuring that single mothers are getting access to relevant and valuable knowledge to face and manage difficult emotions with greater discretion to respond to stressful circumstances and take control.

James appealed to the Government and all other stakeholders to support Angeles Foundation to sponsor the SESA Ghana learning and development process which is subsidised by SEDi.  His aim is that Ghana embraces the need to support mothers to build strong, cohesive and emotionally resilient families –
who can take Ghana into a more prosperous and stable future.

James concluded by stating: ‘For when we build a world full of resilient women, we are building a better world’
