Residents of Doryumu-Abeka in the Shai Osudoku District of the Greater Accra Region are living in a state of shock over the gruesome murder of a 20 -year -old girl, Juliette Obu.
The residents were awakened by a single cry for help on Monday evening, only to find the deceased in a pool of blood gruesomely murdered.
Some residents who last saw her claim she was in the company with a young man suspected to be her boyfriend some moments before she was found dead in a pool of blood.
However, they said young man is yet to be found and identified.
The residents who are yet to come to terms with this heinous crime are wondering what could have triggered the murder of the young girl, many describe as lively and friendly in the community.
Others suspect it could be as a result of a relationship gone bad.
The police have since conveyed the body to the morgue to commence investigation.
Meanwhile, the Police have confirmed that on 11th day of January 2021 at 10:01pm,the Tema Police received a distress call about murder.
According to the Police, they proceeded to the scene of crime at Gblaka and saw deceased Juliet Obu lying in a pool of blood with deep cut on her neck and other parts of her body.
The Police also stated that the body of deceased conveyed and deposited at the Police hospital awaiting autopsy (No arrest(.) Case under investigation(.)
