Samsung officially confirms the Galaxy Z Flip 5G

Following a leaked promotional video and images that surfaced on the internet earlier this month, Samsung has officially announced the Galaxy Z Flip 5G.
The news comes only a couple of weeks before the company’s Galaxy Unpacked event on August 5.
Samsung launched the first version of the Galaxy Z Flip back in February, complete with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 855.
This time around, the 5G version features the recently announced Snapdragon 856 Plus 5G chipset.
But even with the new chipset, all specs remain the same.
On the front is a 1.1-inch Super AMOLED cover display for notifications, while the inside features 6.7-inch FHD+ Dynamic AMOLED Display.
As for cameras, the Z Flip 5G has a 12-megapixel wide-angle lens and a 12-megapixel ultra-wide lens.
However, the Z Flip 5G won’t be available in the same color options as the original version. With this model, you’ll have the choice between Mystic Bronze (which appears to be the theme of Samsung’s upcoming devices at Unpacked) or Mystic Gray.
