Ruling Ghana is proving difficult for the NPP government- Koku Anyidoho

The Deputy General Secretary of the largest opposition party in Ghana, Koku Anyidohu says that it is so evident that ruling Ghana seems to be a herculean task for the Akufo-Addo-led administration.

According to him, the NPP government has not been able to complete a chunk of their campaign promises they made to Ghanaians prior to the 2016 general elections.

He commented that the difficulty that President Akufo-Addo is facing is very bright like day and he further noted that when President Akufo-Addo was in opposition it was the NPP’s hallmark to make utterances like, “Professor do little “,“If the economy is broke, fix it” among others.

“…today you have become the President, what is happening to the economy that he can’t fix it?” he questioned.

Speaking on Accra based Okay FM, he said, “where is the 1-million dollars per constituency? Where are the jobs? Where is the one district, one factory…why is the cedi still depreciating? This tells you that when they were in opposition, they were just making vain babblings just because they wanted power.” He said.

He also put across that this year’s memorial lecture of the late Evans Atta Mills will be held at the University of Cape Coast on the 30th July, 2018 and the headline
speaker of the event will be Prof. Kwasi Botchwey.
