Ridge Hospital disinfects emergency unit after death of Covid-19 patient

 
 
 
The Greater Accra Regional Hospital embarked on a disinfection exercise at  the emergency unit on Saturday following the death of a covid-19 patient at the facility on Friday.
In a statement, the hospital said it was taking the action in order to make both patients and staff safe and that the emergency unit will be reopened on Monday March 30, 2020.

DISINFECTION EXERCISE AT THE GARH EMERGENCY DEPARTMENT
Following an incident that took place at the hospital where a 75 year patient died of COVID19, the Greater Accra Regional Hospital (GARH) has begun a disinfection exercise at the Emergency Unit and its surroundings in order to make the hospital safe for both staff and patients.
In view of the above GARH has suspended emergencies till Monday, March 30, 2020.
