Reach Out Medical Team donates to Worawora Gov't hospital

To help mitigate the effects of the novel Coronavirus disease  (COVID-19), a non-governmental organisation (NGO), Reach Out Medical Team (ROMT), has donated Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to the WoraWora government hospital in the Biakoye constituency in Oti region.
The items donated included gloves, facemasks, Hand sanitizers, Veronica Buckets, Paper wipes, gallons of liquid soap and many more.
This gesture is part of the organization’s commitment to support fight the pandemic which has affected our country and the world at large.
The director for the Reach Out Medical Team (ROMT), Dr. Frank Yirenkyi stated, “As the COVID-19 numbers continue to increase across the globe, it is only safer that we intensify our fight against this pandemic until see the numbers down.
“It is in this regard that we are doing this donation to support Worawora government hospital. As an NGO we  believes in improving life, we also believe that we can improve life when we first keep it safe.
Dr. Yirenkyi noted that, adhering to all the protocols set out by the government is the surest way of getting ahead of the virus and stopping the spread rate thus it is important to follow all the protocols.
He added that, it is high time Ghanaian’s stop moving about in other to stop moving the virus since only human can move the virus around as he urge all and sundry to try and stay at home.
He expressed appreciation to their main donor, Dr. Engel in Germany, and friends as well as families who have supported the organization in extending healthcare to the less privileged across the country.
Dr. Isaac Tettey Secorm, a medical Superintendent at Worawora government hospital, who received the items on behalf of the hospital, expressed appreciation to reach out medical team for its support and commended them for the massive contribution to help the country in the fight against COVID-19.
Gracing the occasion were, Nana Akwasi Owusu-Yeboa, Oti Regional Minister, Biakoye District Chief Executive, Comfort Atta, Chiefs and elders of Worawora.
