Police Hospital Emergency and Isolation Center receives medical consumables from Health Tech Ghana

The emergency department and Isolation center of the Ghana Police Hospital has received some medical consumables from a wholly-owned Ghanaian company, Health Tech Ghana.
The items worth GHS 208,600.00 includes, Volumetric infusion Pump, Syringe infusion Pump, Primary infusion giving set and Assorted 3M products.
HealthTech Ghana Ltd is a wholly-owned Ghanaian company which deals in medical device technology and consumables.

The sole aim of the company is to advance healthcare through innovation and compassion in Ghana and West Africa.
Speaking to the media after the short ceremony, Chief Executive Officer of Health Tech Ghana,Daniel Morkla said, the donation is to support the hospital in the discharge of its duties as we fight Covid-19.
He mentioned that, as part of their Corporate Social Responsibility, they will continue to donate to support governmental health facilities in the country.
“Since the outbreak of  COVID -19 disease in Ghana in March this year , Health Tech Ltd  has and continues to make donations of medical consumables to medical facilities to support Government’s efforts at fighting the disease”.
However he appealed to other institutions to come on board and support in any form in the wake of this pandemic to ease pressure on government.

Some Medical facilities which have benefitted from the benevolence of Health Tech Ghana include the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital (anaesthesia dept.), 37 Military Hospital (ICU), Effia Nkwanta Regional Hospital, The Police Hospital (ICU) among others.
On his part,the medical Director of the Police Hospital, DCOP Ewusi- Enim who received the items, thanked Health Tech Ghana for the wonderful presentations He said, it will go a long way to give better management to patients who are brought to the facility for healthcare.
However, he called on others to replicate what Health Tech Ghana Ltd has done and so same. Commenting on some challenges, Mr. Enim said, the hospital currently needs more Personal Protective Equipments for the staffs to enable them discharge their duties.
