A Campaign Director for the People’s National Convention (PNC) during the 2016 elections, Rev. Samuel Adjei-Debrah has announced his intention to contest the party’s  flagbearership race.

According to him, he has served the party and Ghana as a whole at the grassroots level and therefore has knowledge of the needs of the people and has the experience to bring development to the people if he is elected to lead.

Presenting himself officially to the party at the national headquarters in Accra on Thursday, Rev. Samuel Adjei-Debrah who is also the Leader of the Christian Friends of Democracy, called on his party members to fully support him to become the flagbearer of the party since he has what it takes to become a president if he is selected.

The Chairman of PNC, Bernard Mornah urged him to present himself in a respectful manner to the public so that they can also support him.

He also advised the aspirants not to present themselves as flagbearers to the people until they have gone through the required process and elected as flagbearer.

To those who intend to pick nomination forms, he said the presidential aspirants will pay GHS50,000 as filling fee and 1,000 for picking  forms.

Persons interested in the party’s chairmanship race will pay 30,000 while those seeking to contest the  General secretary  position will pay 20,000.
