Hiplife musician, born Augustine Osei Owusu but known as C-Zar has finally married his beautiful girlfriend Winifred Ofori in a lovely ceremony over the weekend.
The marriage ceremony came off on Saturday, February 2, 2019, at Bekwai in the Ashanti Region.
The wedding was patronized by friends and family of the two principals, as well as some notable figures from the showbiz industry.
Interestingly, C-Zar reportedly revealed that his hit song ‘Mercy Lokko’, was composed precisely for Winifred after she stole his heart.
C-Zar occupies a unique place in the history of Ghanaian hiplife. Despite being widely mocked for being a ‘wack’ rapper, he managed to release two very successful hit songs, Mercy Lokko and Araba Lawson.
The 46-year-old won the ‘Hiplife Song of the Year’ at the Ghana Music Awards in 2009.
But after some time away from music, C-Zar announced in 2018 that he had quit music to concentrate on business.
