Concerned citizens of Tarkwa are currently embarking on a massive demonstration over the poor nature of their roads.
According to reports, all the residents in the Tarkwa Nsuaem Constituency and its surrounding areas gathered around Anglogold Ashanti to embark on the demonstration.
They burnt over 20 tyres in the middle of the road to stop all vehicles from moving, demanding that government fix their roads with immediate effect.
One of them, who spoke to Atinka TV on its Flagship morning show, Ghana Nie, complained that they had been neglected on a lot of developmental projects especially their roads.
According to him, the people were fed up with the issues bothering them and therefore the need to resort to a demonstration.
The residents embarked on a similar action last year, blocking the main Tarkwa-Accra road
