The Association of Ghana Industries in partnership with Atinka Media Village (AMV)  has organised a market fair for SMEs  in the country.

The  fair, which was themed: ‘’Growing Our SMEs, A Top Priority’’  was held on Tuesday at  Odokor in  Accra.

The purpose of the event according to AGI is to create a platform for Small and Meduim Enterprises to display thier product as  a way of showcasing what they have for the world.

The Vice president of  the  Association of Ghana Industries (AGI), Humphrey Ayim-Darke called on the SMEs to use Technology to promote their businesses.

He said more than 85% of enterprises are SMEs and they contribute about 70% of Ghana’s Gross Domestic Product (GDP).

Entrepreneurs occupy a central position in our economy and serve as the spark plug in our economy’s engine, activating and stimulating all economic activity. The most dynamic societies in the world are the ones that have the most entrepreneurs plus the economic and legal structure to encourage and motivate entrepreneurs to greater activities.
