Power Distribution Services Ghana limited (PDS) has rescinded its decision to embark on a load management programme in about eight regions.
Eight regions would have been affected by the first official load shedding table released by Power Distribution Services (PDS) for its power rationing Friday morning.
PDS has however, in a statement issued Friday evening, suspended the programme with immediate effect following directives from Gridco.
"PDS Ghana Ltd wishes to inform the general public, especially its cherished customers that is has been directed by Gridco to suspend with immediate effect the Load Management Programme until further notice because there is sufficient generation. The Load Management Programme has therefore been suspended accordingly until further notice", it said.
