"Our new tracks are Christmas bangers" – Praye

Music trio, Praye, has announced its comeback with three new singles dubbed ‘Disco Light’, ‘Adesua’ and ‘Gban Gbai’.

Praye dominated and thrilled the hiplife scene for about five years with hit songs like "Angelina", "Shordy", "Wo Din",  and "New Dance"

After a long period of speculation, hopes and doubts, Praye, finally parted ways in 2014. The trio unofficially announced its comeback at the 2018 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards with a performance.

Praye in an exclusive interview with Atinkaonline.om on Friday explained that the comeback is important since Ghanaians accepted Praye as a group and they can only succeed and make Ghana proud as a group.

“…Ghanaians accepted us as a trio and it becomes difficult when they now have to psyche themselves and accept all three as solo artists.” Choirmaster noted.

“We know Ghanaians miss us and these three songs are Christmas bangers specifically prepared to welcome Praye back. This will get the people on their dancing feet. We call it the Christmas package,”  he added.

Touching on the current music industry, the trio stated that the industry is moving at a slow pace which would require the help of investors to revive it.

“Praye is back to preach the real Ghanaian Identity and put Ghana out there just like the Nigerian artistes are doing”, Cartel Big J added.
