Ghanaian retired professional footballer, Samuel Osei Kuffour, is set to take over the management of Alhaji Grunsah King Faisal Football Club.

Alhaji Grusah in an interview with Atinka Total sports earlier mentioned that the club was open to investors.

Atinka Sports can, however, confirm that former Bayern Munich defender has finalized the deal to be the new owner of King Faisal.

Speaking on AM Sports with Seth Dadzie Friday morning, Alhaji Karim Grunsah, confirmed that talks are ongoing between the former player and the club.

He said, “It’s true the team belongs to him (Sammy Kuffour), he has been helping the club for a very long time and now it’s official, talks are still ongoing between the vice chairman of the club and Sammy to find a solution, I will give you confirmation this soon.”

King Faisal reclaimed their Premier League status following the GFA’s decision to resolve the long standing legal battle between King Faisal and GFA at the Accra high court.
