The Economic and Organized Crime Office (EOCO) has arrested some officials of PAYBOY Company Ltd.
PAYBOY Company Ltd,an entity that purports to be into the marketing and promotion of Financial Technologies was recently appointed by Menzgold Ghana as a third party entity to negotiate settlement with their unpaid customers.
A statement signed by the Head/Public Affairs for the Executive Director of EOCO,Jacqueline Avorti states that the said officials were arrested on Wednesday, 27th of May, 2020.
The statement added that, initial investigations done by the Economic and Organized Crime Office (EOCO) indicates that, the company was operating without a requisite license from their the Bank of Ghana or the Security and Exchanges Commission.
“The general public is advised to be circumspect when dealing with companies or individuals if it involves financial commitments,” the statement added.
