The Nungua Kpeshie Divisional Police Command have arrested four (4) persons for producing fake products of GIHOC Ghana limited.
According to the police, the four suspects were arrested at hidden joint around Nungua on Tuesday 5th 2019.
Items retrieved by police were 120 boxes of already produced castle bridge, Herbafrik, Madingo and in addition 90 empty bottles.
Among the four persons arrested, one was granted bail after police interrogation whiles the remaining three suspects are still kept in police custody waiting to be processed to face court.
The Kpeshie Divisional Assistant Police Commissioner, Tsidi Francis, addressing the media on the arrest explained that after physical examination of the products retrieved, it was observed that, GRA stamp were embossed on all the products which would have been very difficult to identify the genuineness and the authenticity of the products if the items was able to find their ways to the market.
Meanwhile the police has announced plans to undertake similar operations in the coming days to smoke out other persons behind these syndicates.
