NPP executives disrupt NABCO interview at Bator over ‘unknown’ director

A Nation Builders Corps (NABCO) interview for job seekers under the Ghana Revenue Module came to an abrupt end Monday at Bator in the North Tongu District of the Volta Region when some New Patriotic Party (NPP) executives invaded the venue.

The rampaging youth led by Chairman of the party in the area, Kudjo Saviour Nyadudzi, claimed that the NABCO coordinator for the district, David Nkegbe Agornyrah, was not part of the list submitted by his party for consideration.

Kudjo Saviour Nyadudzi lamented that similar “procedural flaws”  occurred during the recruitment of YEA and NADMO directors for the district.

He said as party chairman, he was surprised that a new person had been appointed to head the NABCO secretariat even though David Nkegbe Agornyrah’s name was not on the original list.

He said the situation was quite unfortunate, adding that party executives will feel ignored when such incidents continue to occur.

However, Mr. James Agornyrah, declined to comment on the matter because he had not been cleared by his boss to speak to the media.

Candidates and representatives from the Ghana Revenue Authority in Accra who had been billed to conduct the interview were left confused as at press time.
