New crop of artistes are amazing- Bright Of Buk Bak

Prince Bright, a member of the erstwhile Veteran Buk Bak group, spoke with DJ Candyman on the Drive talk on Atinka 104.7 FM on Friday, 14th December, 2018 pertaining his music career as a sole surviving member of the group after staying away from the industry for years.

The “Small Thing” hitmaker left the scenes for United States of America after the demise of his brother, Ronny Coaches.

As a veteran artiste who has been in the industry for years, he was asked by DJ Candyman if he was pleased and satisfied with the current state of the music industry and he stated emphatically that he is more than pleased with the industry, especially with regards to the new crop of artistes who are controlling the airwaves currently.

“The new artistes in the industry are great, the likes of Krymi, Kuami Eugene, kIdi, King
Promise are churning out wonderful songs,” he stated.

He further stated that from his experience in the States, he believes the greatest challenge in the industry has to do with the intermittent payment and somewhat porous system of the industry with regards to royalties, but was, however, quick to add that it will be unfair to compare the system of the US with ours due to reasons that are very obvious.
