NDC Votes: Ofosu Ampofo unhappy with all “sorts of machinations in the last 24 hours”

One of the persons aspiring for the chairmanship slot for the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Samuel Ofosu Ampofo, says he will win the race despite all sorts of machinations in the last 24 hours.

Speaking to the media on Sunday at the 9th Delegates Congress of the party, Mr. Ampofo said, “the voice of the people is the voice of the LORD and that no amount of machinations in the last 24 hours can change the will of the people.

When pressed further by Atinka TV’s Bernard Luv to expatiate on his allegations, he declined, saying, “I will talk about it after the election.”

He was, however, hopeful that he would win the elections in spite of the so-called machinations.

According to him, the NDC deserves strong and credible people to lead the party ahead of the 2020 election.

He explained that former President John Mahama is already popular and that he only needs strong party executives to win the election.

“I believe I have a strong personality that can boost the party’s chances in 2020,” he said.

Mr. Ofosu Ampofo’s main challenger is Mr. Dan Abodakpi
