The National Democratic Congress (NDC) has summoned one of its communications team member, Stephen Atubiga over comments he made concerning the wealth amassed by the Communications Director at the Presidency, Eugene Arhin.
According to the NDC, a publication on Ghanaweb which stated that Atubiga said,”Only Useless Politicians Retire Poor”, when he commented on Eugene Arhin’s assets acquired within few years per his wife did not sit well with the party.
“Functional Executive Committee (FEC) finds the above statements unfortunate, especially when they are not consistent with the very principles on which the NDC is founded,” NDC stated.
The NDC has therefore directed Atubiga to meet the FEC to explain why disciplinary actions should not be taken against him.
