National Nasara Coordinator donates to Muslims at Old Fadama ahead of Eid

 
The New Patriotic Party (NPP) National Nasara Coordinator, Abdul Aziz Futah has donated 20 Bags of rice and 10 bags of Sugar to the Muslims at old Fadama ahead of this year’s Eid-ul-Fitr celebration.
He urged the Muslim Community to adhere to the safety protocols to ensure that everybody is protected against the COVID-19 pandemic.
He said the COVID-19 pandemic was no respecter of person and urged the public to practice social distancing, regular washing of hands, the use of sanitizers, observing social distancing protocols, and most importantly staying at home if they had nothing important doing in town.
He urged them to pray for the NPP as well as the Akufo-Addo-led government for the rest of the nation to overcome the existential threats posed by the deadly Covid-19 pandemic.
“This is a demonstration of love for the Muslim community that is why I’m here to donate the items in line with the annual observation of Ramadan, which is considered as the holiest month on the Islamic calendar,” he added.
On his part, the NPP Old Fadama Chairman, Alfa Alhassan, expressed gratitude to the NPP leadership especially the National Nasara Coordinator, Abdul Aziz Futah for the donations which he said had come at the right time.
He also intimated that the party has been very consistent in supporting the Muslim Community during Ramadan and other religious occasions whereupon he thanked the party executives and wished them well.
