The Family of Nana Aplam II says the allegations leveled against the paramount queen of the Manya Krobo state, which constituted the bases for her purported destoolment are baseless and logically flawed.
The Paramount Chief of the Manya Krobo Traditional Area, Nene Sakite II destooled the paramount queen of the area, Nana Aplam II, after she got married to a man from the Manya division.
The paramount chief announced the immediate destoolment of the queen mother citing “betrayal” as basis for act.
But a statement from the Kwame Nguah family of Manya Krobo said no destoolment rituals have been performed for Nana Aplam II, as has been erroneously put out by the Odumase Council, and therefore, no one can claim that Nana Aplam II has been destooled.
