NAM1’s look-alike escapes death at funeral of Anokye Supremo

A Young Man who looks like the Chief Executive officer (CEO) of MenzGold, Nana Appiah Mensah (Nam1), escaped death when he was nearly lynched at the funeral of Anokye Supremo.

Although friends and families went to sympathise with the family of the Lumba-Look-alike last Saturday, some of the sympathisers quickly rushed to question the Nam1-look-alike and to demand for their long awaited monies.

In an interview with Kofi TV, the young man, Nana Abbrah Francis confirmed that he had not only suffer the consequences of the MenzGold saga at the funeral grounds, but also at other public places.

He clarified to Ghanaians that he is not Nam1, and has never met him in real life.

“Because of what happened I am scared when am walking in town. I want Ghanaians to know that I am not Nam1 and I do not know him too,” he said.

Nana Abbrah also cited a scene where he was on set some time ago when a guy came looking for Nam1 because he heard Nam1 was around to shoot a movie.

Meanwhile, he said that he had to leave the set to avoid any form of mob action due to his physique that reminds people of Nam1.

“It took the director’s intervention to convince the people that I am not Nam1 and based on what has happened in Ghana before I had to leave the set,” he said.  He called on Ghanaians to exercise patience and that Nam1 will pay their monies.

Meanwhile, Kofi Adomah, the host of the show advised Nana Abbrah to change his looks in order to avoid any form of public rage.
