NAM 1 not returning to Ghana anytime soon -Report

A joint statement by Ghana Police and Economic and Organized Crime Office (EOCO) suggests that the embattled CEO of Menzgold, Nana Appiah Mensah, will not be in Ghana anytime soon.

Nana Appiah Mensah Mensah was reportedly arrested in Dubai on December 7th 2018 after Ghana Police had issued a warrant for his arrest.

According to an earlier statement signed by the Assistant commissioner of Police Director General and public affairs, David Eklu, the CEO for gold trading firm Menzgold has been in the custody of Dubai police since December for his involvement in a gold trading deal which had gone bad within the Emirati jurisdiction.

A delegation of security and legal officers visited Dubai to commence engagements with the Dubai Police.

A recent statement signed by the Assistant commissioner of Police Director General and public affairs, David Eklu and the acting head of legal and prosecution at EOCO, Abu Issah respectively has revealed that, Nana Appiah Mensah is facing misdemeanor charges in Dubai and that he will only be released to Ghana after final determination of his current matter in Dubai.
