The Tema Police Command has launched a manhunt for a 20-year -old woman, Abigail Adjetey, for allegedly killing her one -year- old daughter on Thursday evening at Bankuman, a suburb of Tema Newtown.
The lady who is currently on the run with a 6 -month old baby, is alleged to have killed her one year old daughter with a concrete slab in an uncompleted building in the area.
An uncle of the murdered girl, Shansa, who is yet to come to terms with the murder of his niece, wants the public to assist the family to trace the whereabouts of Abigail Adjetey, so they save the life of his other niece.
Regional Police Public Relations Officer, Chief Inspector Dede Dzakpasu, wants the public to assist them with information that can lead to the arrest of the suspect.
The remains of the one year old girl has since been deposited at the police morgue for autopsy.
