Kuami Eugene, Kidi, King Promise etc are saviours of our music industry – Andy Dosty

Veteran DJ and radio personality Andy Dosty has praised the new crop of musicians for driving the music industry.

He made this in an interview with DJ Candyman on #Drivetalk on Atinka 104.7 FM,

When asked by  Candyman what's his take on the new crop of artistes was, he said, the new crop of artistes including Kuami Eugene, Kidi, King Promise, Adina, and the likes are the saviours of our music industry.

He added that, they have saved us from the era where our airwaves were flooded by the Nigerians.

“You would recall that we got to a point in time in the country where only Nigerian songs were making waves, DJs all over the country were keen to air Nigerian songs until the new crop of artistes came ” He told DJ Candyman

Although the award-winning radio DJ dissociated himself from the group of DJs and media personalities who were playing Nigerian songs solely, he was quick to add that he is however happy that the status quo has finally changed because songs from the young sensational artistes have flooded the airwaves now.

“But as it stands, everywhere you go, your hear people playing songs of these new artistes which I think is very encouraging and great” He said.
