Konadu is Rawlings’ Delilah –  Anita Desoso

National Vice Chairperson National Democratic Congress (NDC), Anita Desoso, has accused former First Lady of Ghana, Konadu Agyeman Rawlings, of manipulating his husband, Jerry John Rawlings.

According to Anita Desoso, the Presidential Candidate of the National Democratic Party (NDP) and wife of former President, Konadu Agyeman Rawlings is the 'Delilah' of our time.

Former President Jerry John Rawlings in a video that has gone viral reportedly called the Vice Chair of the NDC, Anita Desoso, a crook.

"Maybe sometimes I say the inappropriate things, I should have said it there and then [that she’s a crook]. She’s lucky I don’t talk about her that much. What she did was pre-planned. Yes, the woman on the stage, June 4, when she went on her knees”, he said.

However, speaking to Accra-based Okay FM Monday, Anita Desoso accused Mrs. Agyeman Konadu of badmouthing her (Desoso) to Rawlings hence the latter’s recent outbursts.

Ms. Desoso mentioned that it was obvious the former first lady was the brain behind Rawlings’ current attack on her because she (Konadu) was nodding throughout the speech.

Madam Desoso hinted that the former first lady dislikes her after attempts by the Rawlings’ family to pay a huge cash bribe to her failed.

Anita, who was then the National Women’s Organizer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) recalled that the bribe was to make her withdraw her support for the late President Atta Mills and rather support Nana Konadu Agyemang Rawlings when she decided to contest the NDC flagbearership.

"God had blessed Sampson, but because he loved Delilah who also had another motive, she shaved the hair of Sampson and weakened him. When Sampson became blind he went back to God and pleaded for forgiveness.

“I keep on telling people that somebody could be your enemy today and later become your savior. Later, Delilah prayed to God to ask for forgiveness. So, when Delilah repented and went to Sampson, Sampson carried Delilah and had wanted to throw her away.

“That was when the chains around Sampson got broken. So, there is a way out for Nana Konadu Agyemang Rawlings. She should do something about her husband because he is not like that,” she said.
