Kan Dapaah was never fit for National Security position from day one – Security Analyst

Security Analyst and Executive Director of the  Jatikay Center for Human Security and Peace Building, Adib Saani, has asked government to as a matter of urgency, oust the National Security Minister, Albert Kan Dapaah.
The call  comes after  a video dialogue of National Security Minister Albert Kan Dapaah and a lady alleged to be his girlfriend went viral on social media on Sunday.
The National Security Minister in the video spoke at length with the girlfriend and how he already missed her.
The mistress who played smart by hiding her face in the leaked video, kept ordering the minister around effortlessly. The minister on the other hand, obeyed and modeled in his pyjamas to show his mistress how he wished to be with her.
However, Adib Saani says Kan Dapaah was never fit for the National Security position due to his  poor track record on security matters .
Adib Saani, who made this statement in an interview with host of Atinka FM’s AM Drive Ekourba Gyasi, noted that  Mr Dapaah’s  background and experiences in security were  nothing to write home about.
“The video and the fact that a random lady can just lure our minister and expose him in such a manner shows clearly that the National security Minister does not really understand how the national security office operates and has to be ousted,” he added.
According to Adib Sani, the fact that the National Security Minister could not see the face of the lady he was talking to  and the instruction  for him to model in his morning attire was enough for him to have sensed that something was wrong somewhere.
The security guru expressed worry in how Ghanaians use social media especially Facebook.
“Have you ever wondered why you see advertisements on shoes when you talk to a friend on Facebook about shoes? This is what is called fishing. So all of this is a big worry because these apps fish for information from its audience and serve its target audience with the information.
National Security Minister, Albert Kan Dapaah has so far not commented on the scandal.
