Legal practitioner, Maurice Ampaw, has asked government to treat the leaked video of National Security Minister, Kan Dapaa, as a serious issue of national concern.

A video conversation between National Security Minister Albert Kan Dapaah and his supposed mistress has gone viral on social media.

The National Security Minister in the video spoke at length with the girlfriend and how he missed her hugs and wanted to be with her.

The mistress who played smart by hiding her face in the leaked video, kept ordering the minister around effortlessly.

The minister on the other hand obeyed and modelled in his pyjamas while professing his undying love for the lady.

Speaking to the issue on Atinka FM’s AM Drive with host Ekourba Gyasi, Maurice Ampaw, noted that failure of government to deal with the issue assiduously will breed more of such scandals.

He added that ex-mistresses of ministers can dig out WhatsApp Video conversations  and put them  out which might spell doom for the country.

“We must send signals to these young girls who think they can blackmail men, they want to hide behind mischievous means to extort monies from big men like Ken Dapaah. If Ken Daapah’s issue is not taken seriously and treated as a national issue, it will get to a point where these girls will bring out past sexual related conversations with statesmen. This will be disastrous to all men including the Presidency”, he advised.

Lawyer Maurice Ampaw recounted how sexual related offences involving chiefs, statesmen, religious leaders etc came to his table after he worked on the Asamoah Gyan and Sarah Kwabla’s rape case.
