“I would have been a farmer if I hadn’t done music” -Kuami Eugene

Ghanaian highlife and afrobeats singer and songwriter Eugene Kwame Marfo, who goes by the stage name Kuami Eugene has revealed that his love for humanity would have made him venture into Agriculture if he had not pursued music.

Kuami Eugene, who made this statement in an interview with Atinka Fm’s Drive Time host, DJ Candyman stated that he believes life is all about caring for one another which hw believes can be done through farming.

The “Angela” hit-maker stated that he would have veered into the cultivating of cassava, plantain etc which would have been of outmost to all persons around him.

“You can even tell from my music that I speak for people, I am more concerned about the well-being of people around me than myself. If people around me are not happy, it haunts me”, he said.

Eugene has to his credit hit songs including Angela”, “Wish Me Well”, “Ohemaa” and “confusion”.

Kuami Eugene’s latest single “Obiato” is currently receiving massive airplay and has over 50,000 views on YouTube after a week of its release.
