A Ghanaian Lawyer based in Canada, Kukua Andam, who accused the President of the Ghana Bar Association (GBA), Mr Anthony Forson Jnr of rape over the weekend has hit back at her critics.
Kuukuwa in a Facebook post stated that Anthony Forson Jr. raped her in a Washington D.C hotel in 2012. According to Kuukuwa, she went to meet Forson, who was then her boyfriend, ready to have sex.
She added that she lost interest after misplacing her laptop. She narrated that upon reaching the hotel, she pleased with Lawyer Forson to get a condom but the latter still went ahead and forcibly raped her despite her protestations.
Kukua Andam was criticized on social media for the allegations she made.
In a recent post, the Canada based Ghanaian Lawyer has stated that she is unperturbed with the situation and that she will thrive and get better.

I came out as bisexual while living in Ghana & later as a lesbian & faced the consequences for that. I have been called a demon for embracing the faith that our ancestors practised before the white man stepped onto our shores & I didn't insult back. So you see, you can't bully me & there's nothing you can say that I haven't heard before. Meanwhile, Mr Forson’s attorneys, Beyuo & Co., in a published statement, said their client “sincerely and emphatically denies that he has committed any such offence”, adding that: “The allegations are palpably false and in due course, he will be vindicated”.
