"He was a brother" – Aseidu Nketia eulogizes Sir John

 
The General Secretary for the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), Johnson Aseidu Nketia, has revealed that  deceased NPP former General Secretary, Sir John, was more than a colleague politician.
This statement by the astute politician comes after the CEO of the Forestry Commission and former General Secretary of the New Patriotic Party, Kwadwo Owusu Afriyie alias Sir John, passed on Wednesday night.
Sir John reportedly died at the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital on Wednesday evening.
Reacting to the news of the death of the deceased on Atinka FM’s AM Drive with host Ekourba Gyasi, Aseidu Nketia said the late Sir John called him 2 weeks ago to inform him of the death of his mother and sister.
According to Aseidu Nketia, he consoled the deceased and told teased him that he will count  the number of people who will come to mourn with him (Sir John) and that if they are more than 100, he will cause his arrest.
“Sir John was a good man, when my mother died he came to mourn with me and he stayed after 3 days and all the people in my village were surprised. My mother was a Pentecostal and all the pastors were surprised but Sir John told them that we are already friends and that politics cannot separate us”, Aseidu Nketia said.
