The Minister for Sanitation and Water Resources, Cecilia Abena Dapaah, will today cut sod for the construction of a water treatment plant at Tono in the Kasena/Nankana Municipal Assembly of the Upper East Region.
The project will help address the water challenges in the region and support the Vea water treatment plant in ensuring enough supply of water to all parts of the region.
When completed, it is expected to serve the The Kasena/Nankana Area, Bolgatanga Municipality and the Bongo District.
